SmartSky and Jet East announce sales and installation agreement
Jet East, a Gama Aviation company, adds SmartSky Networks to its list of business aviation solutions
Research Triangle NC, 7 April 2022 – SmartSky Networks, the innovative air-to-ground (ATG) inflight connectivity provider, today announced that Jet East, a Gama Aviation company, will begin offering sales and installation of SmartSky’s advanced shipsets at their maintenance facilities for business aviation aircraft in Trenton, New Jersey, Dallas, Texas, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and West Palm Beach, Florida.
SmartSky’s network is on track for full CONUS coverage this quarter, and Jet East’s factory trained technicians will install SmartSky’s innovative connectivity equipment to support the growing demand for dependable, responsive, and secure connectivity on business aviation aircraft. Continued growth in the Business Aviation sector and greater use of connected services for avionics, cabin WiFi, and aircraft performance monitoring has pushed inflight connectivity to the top of the list for installations and upgrades.

SmartSky’s hardware and services are available through a growing network of installation partners and Value-Added-Resellers (VAR). The patented network is on track for full CONUS coverage at the end of this quarter and hardware is in stock for installation.
